Once upon a time, there was a little girl with a big imagination, teeming with handsome, charming princes and fair maidens who had awesome wardrobes and usually lots of money, talent, and attitude. Oh, and a dog. Or cat. Or horse. Throw in a cup of shy, a sprinkling of Nancy Drew mysteries, and a toy typewriter and voila! A budding author.

Passion to write remained albeit often buried beneath the reality of life. One evening, faced with yet another M*A*S*H rerun, she snapped. Armed with Roget's Thesaurus and Merriam Webster's Collegiate Dictionary, Tenth Edition, she opened Microsoft Word and, as they say, the rest is history.

I'm dj and why in the world I wrote that intro in third person omniscient escapes me. The fact of the matter is this: I'm traveling that sometimes rocky road toward publication and I'd love it if you rode shotgun. No doubt, in the course of our journey there will be potholes and even a flat tire or two. We may cry. We will laugh. Ultimately, the trip will be worth it because at at the end of this road there is a wonderful new beginning: Chapter One...
